Our eXtensible Project Metadology
Cycles of Strategy, Analysis and eXtension

Metalayer projects are based on cycles of establishing a community Strategy, analyzing implementation and performing the Community eXtensions. The Project starts with the Go Live of the Hub and the first communities for the project collaboration and communication. In multiple cycles, the Metalayer Communities are eXtended within and outside the Enterprise.

The Phases of the eXtension Cycle

The objective of the Go Live phase is to have a jump start for the project.

  • Installation of MCH
  • Initial Community structure
  • Look and feel
  • Stakeholder involvement

The Strategy phase is centered around obtaining client requirements to finalize the cycle scope and strategy.

  • Workshop
  • Change impact
  • Key executive interviews

The focus the Analysis Phase is to build a team of knowledge leaders for the content feed and complete the project roll out.

  • Content planning
  • Community eXtension
  • Integration plan
  • Adaptation of look and feel

In the final phase communities are implemented.

  • Metalayer training
  • Community eXtension
  • Community hand over
  • Project Evaluation

Areas of each eXtension cycle are selected according to strategic fit and the quick return of results

The communities and eXtension strategy will be identified by the customer's senior executive and the senior manager from Metalayer. The eXtension is defined based on the following criteria:

  • Strategic fit
Is this eXtension consistent with the overall project objective?
  • Return of results
What eXtension area will lead to the fastest and most efficient results?
  • Resource fit
Does this eXtension fit with the available project resources and technical infrastructure?
